the wheels on the bus go round and round

In addition to all the beautiful families hosting us in the coming weeks, there are two very special meals coming up in April, on the East Coast.

Sister Noella Marcellino, otherwise known as The Cheese Nun, is the sacred grandmother of fromage microbiology. She lives in a cloistered abbey in Bethlehem, CT – though she’ll be hosting a country lunch, complete with cheese she made herself.

Woods Hole Oysters were recently featured in The New Yorker and are the most prized oysters on the eastern seaboard. We’ll be going out and catching our own with Mike the oysterman during the last few weeks of oyster season.
